Help for Seniors

Our Senior Supplemental Food Box Program is only for those aged 60 and over with a maximum monthly income of $2,215 for couples and $1,632 for individuals. This program distributes nutritional boxes throughout NW Ohio and we have partners who help with the distribution of these supplemental nutritional boxes. For an application, the monthly income guidelines, and a complete list of distribution sites, days, and times please visit our Senior Boxes page. Help for Veterans

Veterans can receive food parcels from our on-site pantry of choice on a monthly basis or as needed. This program takes place each Tuesday and Thursday between 12pm-1pm. For referral information, please contact Lucas County Veteran Services (2595 Arlington Ave, #201, Toledo, OH 43614). For more information, call 419-213-6090.

Help for Families

Our network of help consists of food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, community centers, schools and daycares. View a map on the nearest food hub located nearest your zip code. All of our service partners supply emergency food staples to those in need free of charge. They each have various hours of operation and clients are encouraged to call their choice pantry for further information on requirements.

Families in Recovery

Our Families in Recovery Program (or F.I.R.S.T. Program) is geared towards kinship families battling drug and or alcohol abuse. With a referral from one of our partnered rehabilitation agencies, clients can come and shop for food and other misc. items to help with feeding children in their care. This program runs each Wednesday between 12pm-1pm in our Veterans Marketplace warehouse.
